Should be a pro

I've had my lap band for 7 years. I've lost 150 pounds, and I'm very happy! About a month ago my band all of a sudden became irritated, doc says probably acid. I had a cc take out and in one month I have gained 15 pounds. I have an appointment Friday to have some put back in. I guess I just needed to vent, this food thing, addiction or whatever will never go away.

This fill " dance" we do is amusing... I'm currently almost empty for months after many years, and the number on the scale slowly moves up each month. Back for a fill. I'm going for

.5

Julie, I'm thinking that too. I know they will try and talk me into a 1/4, but I just ate a whole chimi, rice and Beans.. the whole plate...geez

Oh no a whole chimi? I have not had a chimi in 9 years. I did all of the sudden start gaining again so I got a fill (I was at 4 now 5.5) but now I keep salvaging and urp in my sleep. I can eat and drink and I stop eating at 5 pm go to bed at 10, what up with this?

Hey ladies, i'm at a disappointing place and looking for some guidance. I had my lap-band put in in '05. I had it for 10 years (lost 100 lbs the first two years and maintained it for the other 8). My stomach randomly slipped up through the band and i had to have it removed June '15. So, it's been two and a half years and i'm 47 lbs gained. I'm super disappointed in myself. I loved my band. It kept me from overeating, which i'm inclined to do on a regular basis. I don't want to get to a point where i actually qualify for bariatric surgery again (for insurance purposes) but I really would like my band put back on. I know the band is a thing of the past.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
