I hit GOAL everyone!

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone!

I'm still in shock, really.

I even weighed myself this morning and am now 2 pounds under my goal!

I'm flabbergasted!

I never thought in a million years that I'd weigh what I do, it's still so surreal!

Yet motivating.... ;)

I have been lately, yeah. I was really worried that I'd have loose skin (aka bat wings) so I've been concentrating on upper body lifting and I'm quite pleased with the results. I do have some damage, don't get me wrong, (especially when I bend over, you can see the loose wrinkly skin a bit) but overall I'm happy and proud of what I've accomplished :)

Thank you for the nice compliment!

I am going to continue on working on toning up more and maybe even lose a few more pounds :)

I think the hard part now is maintaining! Eeekkkk! LOL

Thanks for sharing, I'm scheduled for my sleeve on 11/17 (fingers crossed) and one of my worries was the excess skin many have spoken about apart from other things people have spoken about online, like the strain on relationships afterwords. Some of the surgeons on realself.com stated that excess skin was inevitable and I don't forsee being able to afford a body lift. I am 235 lbs and hopefully with hard work and exercise it won't be too bad. I think the pros of a potentially healthier life outweigh the negatives... Thanks again.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
