Smoking and sleeve surgery

Well I quit for 6 days and got into a well what triggers me an argument and I smoked 3 cigarettes and I'm 6 days away from surgery. Will I still be ok?

I think nicotine tests only work for 72 hours.

My MD said he would do a nicotine test before surgery

He told me 90 days cig free. I quit 30 days before and they never did the nicotine test .

Freaking out I've done so good and blew it. I have blood work the 24th and surgery the 25th.

I had the lapband and quit before but stupidly went back to it 2 months later now here I go again, dumbass on the loose same reason i have food addiction.

I can't help.. My doc told me I had to be off cigz for 2 months before I could even start any of the other stuff.. I quit cold turkey back in February and haven't smoked since.. But then my interview ended up in ICU for 3wks after her surgery over 10yrs ago
