I had 8, one was a mistake, out too far, barely noticeable but still my surgeon did say typically 6 or 7.

I have 6, one is so small I can't find it now and one other is almost completely gone, so only 4 noticeable ones but there almost faded all the way too at 7 months post op...

I'm looking forward to more healthy and less chubby times and (gasp) my date with surgery and Dr Miller in Columbus. Its a beautiful day today and I'm seeing good things ahead for this Posey . As I lose I'm gonna bloom out and my outside is gonna match my happy little heart. Wish me luck, okay?

I have 5 too

I have 5...the biggest one is on my right side where he pulled my stomach out at....

That's interesting. I thought the largest incision would be on the left side as that's where the stomach is located. I guess different surgeons have different techniques. Hope you are recovering well. All the best.

I have 4. I thought that was standard, but from this thread it appears I'm abnormal.

I have 5. Left, mid abdomen is the second largest. Umbilical is the largest. With the 3 they used for my gallbladder, I have a lopsided smiley face!

I have 6, but had the VGS, gallbladder removed, gastro-diverticulitis repair and large hiatal hernia repair. I'm still really sore too. Surgery on 10/10 and I still hobble.
