I did some cheating on my pre-op liquid diet and I regretted so much. My surgery suppose to be yesterday but Dr. cancel the surgery because my Fatty liver so, Im going back on the liquid diet and try to loose more weight so, its important to stay on the liquid diet and try to loose the more weight possible Sent from my iPhone

Thanks, actually I ended up not having the VSG done. My doctor Dr. Clayton Frenzel decided to stop the process because my liver still needs to shrink a little bit more. I started at 394 and yesterday I was 172 so, Ive lost 21 pounds but it seems isn't enough. So, I got the cuts on my stomach but no VSG Ive to continue with my two weeks liquids diet ... loose more weight Dr said At least 20 more pounds,... To be continue,.. Sent from my iPhone

I don't if it's just me or anyone else had the same situation that I'm going through right now. I'm driving to the hospital my Surgery is at 7am and I have weird thought about it... I've been in my liquid diet for 2 weeks, and I haven't eat anything since 12am. But, Right now I'm like not hungry but I'm the only thinking about is just food!! =( Like just plain Food!!! I guess I do I am addicted.... Like driving in the Highway just thinking all the good food that I'm not going to be eating,... and like knowing that It's just a mental thing. I'm trying to keep my mind busy with other things. I even made a love letter for myself to read it for support and to remember why I'm doing this. Idk, there are just very weird thoughts. I'm in Texarkana, So What I did I sent all my personal and insurance information to Dr's Kim Office and few days later they just sent me an email saying that my insurance don't cover the Surgery and that's it, I was like move to the side and Next!; anyway I was bumped and sad, And without knowing but talking about the situation one of my co-workers she had the surgery few years ago with Dr. Frenzel and He comes from Dallas to Texarkana, so I setup the appointment and the Dr. Very knowledgeable, friendly, well concerned about my health and my weight, staff members couldn't be more nicer, Insurance coordinator she informed me that my insurance does not cover the surgery but right there in the moment she gave me option, she validate alternatives, and one of them is doing a EDG test for a Hernia to see if needs to be repair and if needs to be repair they can go ahead and do the surgery to repair it (and its cover by the insurance) and They will do the gastric sleeve at the same time, for a out of pocket cash amount, which really isn't that bad in compare paying full price, so Im going to Dallas to get my tests done I'll be gone for the whole day Sept 6th.
