I didn't have a catheter.

I was on my period when I had my surgery. They had me wear a pad and mesh underwear like you wear just after giving birth.

I am 43. Had sleeve surgery this past August. I was 42 at time of surgery. I have lost a lot of hair! It is finally slowing down though.

I went in August 10 and was discharged August 13, but I had a lot of nausea so I wasn't getting my fluids in. It's usually just an overnight stay.

Sleeved August 10, 2016 SW 282 CW 225 I can eat almost anything, just not very much. My hair is falling out in handfuls though????

I'm a little concerned. I had my 3 month post op on 11/22. I ran out of Vitamins and supplements about 2 weeks ago. All of my levels were normal except my B12 and parathyroid, which were high. Anyone else experience this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I started losing my hair at 2 months post op, I'm 3 months post op now and still losing it. Luckily I had thick hair to begin with. I just hope I stop losing it before I have to resort to extensions.

Thank you. I'm not sure what I expected. I also have a bad habit of weighing myself right before I go to bed and first thing in the morning. I may need to throw out my scale.

My husband is 6'2" and weighs maybe 175 pounds, maybe less. I'm 5'4" and weighed 282 on my surgery date which was 08/10/2016, I'm only down to 232 right now, but I have never told him my weight either. I may tell him after I get back down to 160 or so.

I had Ketosis for the first month post op. The Doctors never forewarned me. It was terrible, no matter how many times I brushed my teeth and tongue or how much mouthwash I used. I'm glad it's over now. I was sleeved 8/10/16 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
