Ketosis?

I'm pretty positive I'm experiencing ketosis. I have a bad taste in the back of my throat most of the time. I know ketosis is when you're burning a lot of fat, however I don't see a change in my weight. Maybe I'm not eating enough?

How far out are you? Be sure you are drinking enough fluids. The bad taste could also be GERD. You need to be getting enough protein and fluids. The weight may slow - you're probably losing inches even if scale doesn't move.

Dont think its "ketosis", to get keto you need your body consuming fat not Protein. Think its more likely gerd or protein breathe. I know Isopure left a nasty taste in my mouth.

They warned me about the nasty taste in my mouth from ketosis and I definitely had it at first. It's gone away since I've started pureed foods.

I was also sleeved Monday 10/24. Today the bad taste in my mouth has been driving me nuts. I make sure to brush my tongue when I brush my teeth and that helps for a while. By morning though it's like a sour milk taste...yuck.

I had Ketosis for the first month post op. The Doctors never forewarned me. It was terrible, no matter how many times I brushed my teeth and tongue or how much mouthwash I used. I'm glad it's over now. I was sleeved 8/10/16
