I am just outside of DC. My sleeve is January 11th. I'd be happy to share when I'm back home. I also need to find a local doctor for my post-op care, so I may need referrals from you all.

Pray, Speak, Do! ~Meesh~

How are you? Just checking in

I am in Lorton. I just have to do a sleep study on 1/17/17 and an endoscopy on 1/26/17. I'm hoping to get a mid-February surgery date.

Hi everyone I'm from Fairfax, Va. I have to set up a psych evaluation but am nervous about it. Can you tell me what types of questions they ask and how long it takes?

Don't be nervous! They ask some pretty general questions and then give you an online form to fill out. Just answer honestly and you will be ok.

My interview was like a general conversation. We talked about what I've done/am doing to prepare for this life change, what got me to this point, my weight and diet history, eating habits, and my support system. It lasted about 45min-1hr.

Don't be, I actually took a computerized test that asked a trillion questions. But very simple things like I am very happy in my life right now?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
