Hiccups?

I had surgery Monday. The hiccups are brutal. Any suggestions for relief?

OMG! Me too! Doctor said I drank too fast. Which I probably??! How are you feeling now? My incisions are what's bothering me right now and I feel like I'm sleeping a lot more than I should.

Only thing that helped me was really deep breaths. It sucks but it's the only thing that really helped them go away.

Pain is getting better but I was back in the hospital Tuesday as the pain medication wasn't enough. So long story short - IV pain neds, Vitamins & I quids due to dehydration & a UTI on top of it. Today is better except for these hiccups!!!

I had surgery on Monday too and also had hiccups. I held my breath and that seemed to help. I just got discharged today and feel really good! Sore, but I'm having no problem drinking

I had surgery Monday also and had the worst constant stream of hicups last night. I just tried to take slow breaths and they eventually subsided.

I'm 4 weeks out and still get hiccups daily. There are a lot of theories, most having to do with the diaphragm and how fast you're eating/drinking.
