Hi there. Have two questions to recent or recovered sleevers. I am exactly 2 weeks post surgery.

1) I never used to sleep 7 hours a day. These days I am clocking 10 hours of sleep. If I seep less, I a usually not focused or like today, end up sleeping close to 3 hours in the afternoon. Any experiencing or experienced this?

2) Multivitamin chewable tablets are making me nauseous. It is very clear. Everytime I have it, I get a bout of nausea. Fortunately have not hurled yet. Any experiencing this? Has anybody found an alternative which does not require wearing a patch?

Thanks,

Jilani

You had major surgery and sleep is your bodies way of healing itself. Add to that the low calories and it will take weeks to feel really right again. I take 2 Vitamins and I take one at different times of the day. I'm going to move to Flintstone Vitamins +Iron after I finish all my freebies. If that doesn't help then I'll adjust.

I, too, am sleeping more but I think it's getting better the more I recover. Also, I found patch MD...........there is a whole variety of Vitamins and minerals that come in patch form. You can order them online. I just started using them. You can attach them to your back or hip or wherever they will stay attached. Hopefully they'll do the trick.

I would sleep 10hrs a night if I could...usually I'm in bed at 8p...I used to struggle to sleep...no longer. I'm on my 7th week. Just follow your body, it knows best. If it's a quiet afternoon and your body says nap...do it. Our bodies have so much to readjust to. Let it lead you. As far as Vitamins, my husband has the same issue. Sometimes taking it with food helps.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
