I'm at 3 weeks and 2 days. I've lost 17 lbs in those 3 weeks, consistently losing around a lb a day. However the last 3 days I've stayed the same and even went up a pound. I've read of this 3 week stall and am terrified that my body is gonna stop losing weight. I'm gaining confidence by the day but would hate to stay like this. I know this forum is flooded with people needing reassurance but dang. I'm frustrated already. Ps, I finally feel normal post op-no pain and energy is back. Yay!!

Ditch the scale and start living, not stressing. Weigh once a week or two weeks.

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. We all experience stalls and just about everyone e experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery.

Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and at least 64 oz of Fluid, take your Vitamins and supplements as directed, exercise when cleared, stay off the scale, and Embrace the Stall

My 3 week stall is on week 4..../...no loss for 2 weeks...im fed up. I'm getting all my Protein and following the diet to a T, but nothing. It is so frustrating and depressing.

I hope we both see some movement soon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
