Protein bars suggestions.

I like almost all of the Quest bars - only a couple weren't good. I think my favorite is the vanilla almond flavor. But, the chocolates are good too!

Are there any SAVOURY Protein bars?

So far I only have seen sweet ones.

I have never tried a Protein Bar, but I'd prefer something savoury/salty, like cheese flavour.

Do they exist?

@@Dub Is the pumpkin one savoury, or sweet as well?

No savory ones that I am aware of. pumpkin is pumpkin pie. If I wanted savory I'd just eat Jerky or cheese or something. The Moon Cheese Snacks are awesome as are Whisps and mr. Cheese-o's.

@@jess9395 and @@Inner Surfer Girl

Thank you both for the info.

Yes, I normally snack on real cheese, cream/cottage/yellow and our Australian Cruskits (healthy crisp bread) that are actually owned by Arnotts, American company.

I'll have a look at the links @@Inner Surfer Girl. Thank you for them.

I guess I am concerned that by snacking on sweet Protein Snacks could re-activate my sweets cravings, plus I feel more satiated with savoury food.

Certainly something to be aware of and perhaps Protein Bars aren't the choice for you. They work well for some (me included) and not for others who do feel their sweet cravings are triggered.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
