Hi all. I was sleeved April 4, down 68 pounds and feeling great!! Off BP meds, minimal foot pain, getting "looking good" compliments. So happy I did this! However, I'm losing my hair. I knew it was coming but now that it's here I'm kind of freaking out. This is temporary, right? It'll come back, right??? I take 5000mcg Biotin every day. Thinking about doubling up on biotin. Hoping someone will put my mind at ease...

Your hair will grow back. I have read different things about Biotin and my dermatologist told me it doesn't work, but whatever, I still take it everyday and I have for about 6-8 months. I'm almost 3- years post-op and it's only been in the last 4-6 months that my hair has started to look normal again. I've also been washing my hair with Lipogaine and Regenepure about once a week for the last two months and while I'm not sure if it's helping, it certainly isn't hurting.

I never ended up bald, lol, and the thin hair is something that only really bothered me after someone said something about it. In the end, your hair does grow back, and you get to be thin, so in the long term win-win.

Took Biotin 1 1/2 years. IMHO it was worthless. I lost a lot of hair, especially around my face. I cut it all off and wore a wig a year only when I went out. Thank God it was a good one. It took 2 years for my hair to be normal again. I would do it again but hate my Hair loss. Hope you are luckier. Also, I took every great Vitamin, even consulted with a compound pharmacist.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
