(Your) Relationship with Food: A Quick Self-Check

Recommended Posts

Somehow didn't gain weight since my last weigh-in for class, even with the stress of the red carpet premiere last week, and travel this last four days eating out for every single meal.

Down -9 pounds in the last 22 days.

This is our self-check for class tonight.

Where are you at?

Congrats on keeping up with the weight loss! It was very interesting to read the self-check you posted. Before my surgery (which was only 5 weeks ago) I would have checked almost every item! But now I don't relate to any of them. Hope this continues! Thanks for posting this!

Nice job on your weight loss and your reality check! It's always a good idea.

I am having a rough couple of days with food. I am recovering from plastics and I swear I could eat a whole cow and a chicken and oh hell, why not a pig too. LOL Ugh!

Now for some watermelon because that always fills me up!

Congrats on your good work and thank you for posting this. Boy did I need to hear it tonight! Just reminds me that this will always be my addiction regardless of reaching my "goal" weight. Doesn't stop me from binging. And just when I thought I was doing so well....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
