Bathroom situations

Recommended Posts

I am 4 mos post op and I have had problems with diarrhea and stomach cramps since the surgery. I keep eliminating items from my diet and the problems continue to exist. Is anyone else having this same situation? And if so, has anyone found a solution to this?

I had (and still have on occasion) the same problem...

I've found that it's when I'm having two or three Protein shakes per day...

If I have the shakes and get all my Water in I have the diarrhea problem...

If I don't get enough Water, I have the Constipation problem...

I guess there's just no pleasing our sleeven poo gods...

I am having the same problem!! GS 4/6/15 hysterectomy done by c-section 5/18/16. Besides the diarrhea I thought I had hemorrhoids. I went to the doctor because I tried everything, nothing worked I'm 95% of the time in pain!!! The dr told me I had fissures & I needed more Fiber in my diet!!! It's been a week with adding a Fiber supplement along with adding food with fiber. Still in pain very uncomfortable!!!!

I try to get in as much Protein from my diet as possible but I am still very limited in the amount of food I can consume each meal. I also can not drink the shakes, they increase the diarrhea and they have my stomach in knots. But I guess only being 4 months out today, that this will continue to be a learning process :)

I for one am looking forward to passing said poo and not having to grab the wall with my left hand and twist myself as much as possible in order to clean myself which inevitably I get all over my right hand

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
