Is anyone else having daily nausea?

I'll be 7 weeks post-op tomorrow and constantly nauseous. I've had to change my toothpaste, infuse my Water because even normal spring Water makes me nauseous. At my one month post-op visit my MD (Dr Jawad) said it was normal. Just want to know how long will it last.

I am 6 weeks out and Water makes me nauseated immediately. food doesn't bother me anymore. I have to take my pills (I am on a lot of meds) with a Protein Shake instead of water, and I still take Phenergan. I infuse my water with mixed berries and for some really odd reason it helps (psychological?) Good luck to you; I hope you find some relief soon.

I am 6 weeks post op and nauseous all the time. I can't even eat or drink I'm so nauseated. I had to go on TPN infusions every night through a picc line in order to get my fluids and nutrients. My surgeon said it happens to some Bariatric patients and it will go away. In the meantime I'm miserable.

I'm a Bypass patient but I am in the same boat as many of you. I deal with constant nausea from the time I wake up until the time I lay down at night, nothing helps, I have tried zofran, Reglan.. Everything. The smell and thought of food makes me feel sicker. The only relief I have is when I am asleep. I can't get in proper fluids which scares the crap out of me. I've been to the Er several times for dehydration and received fluids, they seemed to help but the next day I am back sick again. All of my lab work is normal. This week I went to the surgeon for a endoscopy and he found and removed 3 random staples inside me. He was hoping that was what's making me nauseous but I am still sick 3 days after the procedure. I'm 6 weeks out and life is miserable.

My nausea is dreadful. I have an abscess and gallbladder issues though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
