Do you think I'll be ok?

Recommended Posts

So I'm planning on surgery sometime in September. I am also planning on going back to school...Liberty University Online...in August. The classes of course are all online but can be pretty intense. Do you think I'll be fine after surgery to keep up with my online classes? Classes consist of a lot of reading and paper writing.

If it were me I would try to get work done ahead of the surgery. In other words see if you can get ahead on the class work. I know that I had very little energy the first 2 weeks.

That's the good thing about online classes...I'm able to work ahead!

Of course, not a problem.

You'll encounter a number of people who will attempt to baby you on this issue, including yourself, but don't pay any attention to them; yes you'll have no problem doing the online courses

The biggest hurdle at all immediately post surgery was being tired, but do as much as you can before surgery and then rest a few days and then get back on it. You'll be fine and the fact that you are probably going to be bored to tears at that point will make you ever so grateful for something to stimulate you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
