Bariatricpal Team Mexico COMMUNICATION amazing.

Recommended Posts

I am leaving for Tiajana Mexico In less than 24 hours, last night I was feeling greatful for this amazing opportunity and sent a pm to my surgeon to tell him how excited that I was to meet him. Then I asked him how it felt to be a hero to so many. Within a few minutes I had a message back. DR.Illan replied saying he was ready to meet me and he loves seeing his patient's live change and health improve!!! SERIOUSLY never would you have that kind of personal contact with your provider in the states!! If you have doubts about this group message me. I am a believer.

Pegrae I so totally agree. I had my surgery almost a yr ago with Bariatric Plan and nothing could have made the experience any better than the way they take care of you. I look back with excitement on my trip and think of it more as a vacation than a surgical experience. I had such a good time.

Yes my 100 pound goal is to go back for vacation.

How are you doing?

I am doing very well thank you Pegrae. Maybe Bariatric Pal needs to host a reunion/vacation get together for their happy patients. I am sure they would love to see us all again as much as we would enjoy seeing them.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
