@@gettingsleeved1 - I think you are officially in the Cult of Protein, some one please get him a decoder ring and let's teach the secret handshake.

I really liked the Isopure right after surgery. I was doing 1 to 1 1/2 per day the first couple of weeks to get Fluid and Protein in.

I went overboard and bought large containers of Protein powder in eight flavors. They lasted me over two years!

Syntrax Nectars! I liked the Isopure over ice, and really liked the Syntrax Nectars mixed with Water and over ice. I still keep a container of Cappuccino for the random mornings I drink a Protein instead of having some Breakfast.

I had my surgery on June 21st, so I'm only on Day 3 post-op, but I like the Isopure drinks. I've got lemonade, green tea lemon and mango-peach. I was told that they were thick and a bit unpleasant, but they're not bad at all. I'm able to drink 30 oz/day (that's 1.5 bottles) which gives me 60g Protein. I'm also drinking about 20 oz chicken broth and about 20 of Water.

Tomorrow I'll try Premier Protein, the RTD chocolate, and I also have unflavored Isopure powder and some powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury samples to try. I'll post after I try them :)

You may want savory options instead of all sweet stuff. Buy chicken broth and add unflavored Protein Powder to it.

Be careful with premiere ready to drink after surgery. It's more of a concentrate versus an isolate.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
