  5. Hello, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and trying to keep up with my protein intake. I had my sleeve in 2017. I normally have a protein shake in the morning (pre pregnancy) but I've read that they may not be safe. Has anyone continued to use protein powders while pregnant? What brand did you use? pre pregnancy I discovered this brand and I loved it https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZP1K4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  6. If you can get out of the city it will probably be less pricey. I am in NJ and would be happy to give you the name of the place i am booked with.
  7. Omg...almost 3 years post sleeve and loosing almost 200 lbs i have scheduled and made a deposit on my plastic surgery. I am getting my arms and thighs done. To be honest i thought i would be more excited about it. My wonderful supportive family and boyfriend have been urging me to do this and my parents are assisting with the cost. I know that i will look and feel better and once it's done i will be happy i did it.

  13. In my opinion I think you can have your pina colada and enjoy it. You probably won't be able to finish it but ENJOY IT!!!
  14. If it's once in a while...nothing wrong with an all you can eat buffet
  15. Yes, it is true. If done properly the part of your stomach that stretches is removed. You can eat more now because your internal swelling has gone down. It can take a while for all the swelling to finally go away.
  16. For me i went with the sleeve because it seemed like it was less restrictive, and the idea of completely rerouting your insides wasn't as appealing.
  17. being exhausted is very common since you're not getting many calories. Dizzyness might also be related to dehydration. Are you getting enough fluids?
  18. Well on one hand you should listen to your doctor, but on the other hand you're loosing weight. Personally I think if you're loosing weight then you're not taking in too much For me in two years since my sleeve I've never tracked my calories, even today I don't know how many calories I'm taking in
  19. That's pretty standard. The way my surgeon explained it to me...this is a completely voluntary surgery so they will run every test they can to make sure you will get through the surgery. doctors, especially surgeons have to watch their statistics. It is bad for them if someone has complications or heaven forbid dies from surgery. So they will do whatever they can to ensure that you will have no complications
  20. I think it depends on what you are the most self conscious about. For me the order in which I would rate things is arms, thights, tummy, boobs
  21. Thanks everyone, I'm looking into some of those links.
  22. Yep I've been with my boyfriend for almost a year...the first time the clothes came off i was convinced it was going to be the last, that he would see everything hanging and run screaming. A year later he's still here, but honestly no matter how much he says he loves me and he's not bothered by the loose skin it's still something I'm self conscious about and try to not show much
  23. You get pumped full of fluids in the hospital so you may not see a lot of loss right away. Sounds like you are doing just fine. Stick to your personal plan and everything will be fine.
