Feeling Frustrated

Frustrated right now because I have done all the requirements and been approved by my insurance but have not been given a date for surgery yet. My surgeon office has me doing additional requirements before they schedule me. They have me seeing a pulmonologist because I use to smoke, he want me to do a sleep study because I snore. I did a breathing test and chest x-ray both were clear. I was hoping to have surgery this month but it does look like thats going to happen.

That's pretty standard. The way my surgeon explained it to me...this is a completely voluntary surgery so they will run every test they can to make sure you will get through the surgery.

doctors, especially surgeons have to watch their statistics. It is bad for them if someone has complications or heaven forbid dies from surgery. So they will do whatever they can to ensure that you will have no complications
