  4. Hello, I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and trying to keep up with my protein intake. I had my sleeve in 2017. I normally have a protein shake in the morning (pre pregnancy) but I've read that they may not be safe. Has anyone continued to use protein powders while pregnant? What brand did you use? pre pregnancy I discovered this brand and I loved it https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZP1K4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Want to loose weight? Nah, I don't think anyone here on a board about weight loss surgery is interested in loosing weight. Nice try!
  6. I stumbled upon this recipe for a protein packed overnight oats recipe that I've been eating almost every day and I'm loving it, maybe someone else will like it. Before bed I mix a container of greek yogurt (12g protein) and a scoop of protein powder (the brand I use is 20g per scoop). Once it is smooth I mix in 1/4 cup of milk (4g protein) and a packet of high protein instant oatmeal (10g protein). I put a handful of frozen berries on top and put it in the fridge until morning. When I'm ready to eat I mix it all up and it's very good. The total protein ends up being 46g. It's more than I can eat in one sitting but I usually eat it for breakfast and lunch and if any is left as a snack later. My favorite flavor combo so far has been raspberry yogurt with a scoop of chocolate powder and frozen raspberries.
  7. I'm glad the site exists. I just wish there were more poeple on it. That's not your fault, it's just a new site. I for one would love to find someone near me who also had weight loss surgery. I think that would make things much easier, someone who knew where you came from, your struggles, and who understands some of us might have loose skin and not be repulsed by it.
  8. I'm kind of near that area, in NJ. not many people around
