I had my sleeve on May 20th. The first week was hell! I became dehydrated which was taken care of at my 5 day visit post op. I was given 2 bags of IV which made me feel better. At this point I feel much better still struggle with eating, but my weight loss is going as I would have hoped. I started with a 44 pant size now depending on the brand I can wear 36-38

No exact date for me as of yet, but I am hoping for end of October-ish. I am so excited and absolutely cannot wait to join everyone who has had VGS!! I can't wait to post my first success story and NSV. With all that being said......I'm gonna need a buddy too!

Hi Susie. I stop smoking 20 years ago. If you can pass that 20 minutes craving you will be fine. Find a candy sugar free that taste like worth(?) or some with the taste u like. Get up do something Put something in between your fingers , brush your teeth and give a fresh mint taste to it ....20 minutes is how much last. You don't want mess up your stomach. I'm here for you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
