Hey guys,

My name is Angelica and I'm 21 years old. My height is 5'5 and I weigh 240. I am so excited to say that my surgery will be this upcoming Wednesday (June 22). Can I please get any tips, advice, and stories? I would truly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Good luck on your surgery. Make sure that you have a good before photo, so that you will have something to compare it with after surgery. Many people do not see the amount of weight they lose, because we blind ourselves to our obesity. So when the weight comes off, we have no comparison. Don't rely on the photos taken by the surgeons office. Have your own.

Me too! My family just went out to eat and even though I chose to do this, I feel like clawing their eyes out of hunger lol.

Mine is the 30 and the pre-op diet it's killing me

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
