NSV - I haven't been this excited since my surgery! :)

Recommended Posts

Hey y'all,

I'm incredibly excited and I have to share this with someone who will understand! I was sleeved on May 18th and since then I've lost around 16 pounds. The scale hasn't moved in almost a week though and I've been wanted to add in exercise so I thought now would be a great time to do so. I've had an elliptical for a couple of years and I finally got back on it a few days ago. Tonight when I was on it it hit me - I wasn't out of breath! Before my surgery when I would get on it (a year or two ago) I was out of breath within five minutes and the rest of my workout was a huge struggle. Tonight when I was almost finished I realized my chest wasn't on fire! I think I'm more excited about this than the weight I've lost!! Anyways just wanted to share with my fellow sleevers!

God bless! :)

I totally get this! No longer being imprisoned by our obesity is the ultimate reward for so many of us.

Good for you. I'm only four days out and am able to sleep like when I was a kid, deep and restful.

YAY!!!! I totally get this....I was a few months out and got into my car after a doctors appointment and it suddenly hit me....I wasn't breathing hard and my legs didn't hurt! (was a bit of a walk from the car park to the building!) and each time I went it stunned me!

Good Luck!! Love Light and Blessings! xx BB

Val

Val, not having to care where I park (unless it is raining) was one of my first NSV's too! wonderful feeling.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
