What do you need help with? A strawberry won't kill you but try your hardest to stick to the doctor's rules. They are there for a reason

Yeah for sure stick to the Dr's program or you will pay for it in the end! Not to be so dramatic but if it doesn't agree with you it will hurt coming up and you really don't want that pain! By my schedule I ate 2 pieces of broccoli and 1 mushroom cap and was in pain curled up for 5 hrs and only thing I could do is to wait til it passed.....

I am post open 1 week today I'm only supposed to be on liquids but today I smashed up a strawberry an chewed until it was nothing but mush

I understand the urge to eat off of plan, but please don't do that. Strawberries have seeds. Even if it was mush, those seeds can lodge in your staple line.

The post-op stages are designed so that you can get in enough nutrition while you. are healing from major surgery. It may not be fun but it is for your benefit: to heal successfully without major complications.

As my NUT reminded us, it is only temporary. We can do anything for a short time.

Please have patience and follow your program and it will be over sooner than if you do something to cause complications.

Just focus on getting in all of your fluids and Protein and following your program.

You can do it!
