  1. Anyone can be anything on the Internet. That said, good attempt at deflecting from the actual topic at hand. And trust me, telling me to "move on" will get you no where. Lmfao. She speaks the truth. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  2. I would love to see the progress 5yrs post op the ones that cheated vs. Strick ones. Unfortunately the ones that fall off dont really post on here anymore. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

  5. Valtrex? I remember those commercials for herpes lol I have gotten cold sores all my life. Some infected sob probably kissed me as a little kid. I wish there was a cure. I always get them around season changes. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  6. People at work are not your friends. Loyalty is a thing of the past, both ways. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  7. Still waiting to hear about the exciting changes. Unless she meant that everyone will be excited in a mob fashion with pitchforks. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  8. Goes by state, goes by level of insurance and goes by the company or state/govt you work for. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  9. I hope people here never have a major illness that the insurance company decides not to cover or doesnt cover to the extent they need it. Your life is then thrown into a tornado of losing everything you have and possibly die. You can work until your 60, never break a law, fight in wars for your country, pay taxes out the wazoo, pay thousands for medical insurance, and you are still walked over for the almighty dollar. Then tell me how universal health care is worse. Remember folks, just because you have medical coverage doesn't mean that they will cover you. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  10. Yep Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

  12. I wish it wasnt called a leak. A leak sounds like - ehhhh you sprung a leak, we will get you fixed up in a jiffy. They should say what it really is - you ripped your stomach open and your abdomen is now filled with food, acid and whatever you drank. You can DIE. Sounds more scary than a leak. 13. I started at 429lbs 5'3" and was required by insurance to do a 6 month supervised weight loss program. Surgeon wantes me to lose 40lbs. Day of surgery I was 389lbs ☺ Had it bypass in may and today I am 315lbs. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  14. I rather be a scolder than let that person go quickly down the road to having a leak, complication or even death. You would be surprised how many people think they cant eat something only because they think the doctor just wanted you to lose weight quicker. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  15. Imo too many people coddled themselves into needing this surgery and I am not one that will pat them on the head and tell them, it's ok that you ate a 20oz steak at 3 weeks out. It's ok you ate solid food when you just got home. If you came on here asking people's thoughts or help, I will tell you what I think about the situation. Just dont complain and call it bullying for someone to call you out on potential harm you can and are doing to yourself. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  16. Imo my siblings who had other tyoes of surgeries all experienced moderate hair loss from the surgery itself. I get lots of Water, tons of Protein and take max amounts of Biotin and I swear there is a puppy that got into my drain when I take a shower. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

  22. It is weird. Last week I was trying a few different sizes of jeans that I have had and they are all so different shaped while being the same size. Even the same brand. Then I tried different sizes, can fit into Avenue size 26 jeans comfortable, but lane bryant jeans are an absolute no go in a 28. Then I tried a woman within jean and 30 is swimming on me. So I guess I will be living in one pair of jeans for 2 months lol. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
