Hello all! Still no news. Reassessment was on June 23rd. The insurance coordinator did not submit paperwork until the 29th after hours so AETNA does not count it as day 1. I know it is only the 7th but the wait is painstakingly drawn-out. It is time to take care of business!!! 9 business days since surgeon approval and potentially 5 business days from the last day AETNA said they would take. I went ahead and made another dietitian appointment for the 19th in case... You know. I'm ready to jump up from the losers bench and become a starter. Let's get started!!!!! AETNA! AETNA! AETNA!

Crazy how everyone's wait time and program is different... I have Aetna and the time from my initial appointment with the surgeon to the surgery was only 45 days. The only thing I had to do was see the recommended specialists and get cleared.

Sorry you are going through so many loops,

I called again today and the insurance rep suggested I call my doctor's office since a nurse hadn't even been assigned to my case yet. So... I did. They are going to call on Monday and try to get it expedited. Hopefully, Monday will bring an answer.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
