Seconds thoughts while undergoing nutrition phase

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all the comments and support. I'm going forward as planned.

Yeah, me too. I think I had momentary brain fog from my pre-op diet!

We all undergo a successful. Weight loss before surgery I know where we lose weight before we actually have surgery the thing is is that and you've known in the past that you have lost weight and you always regained it is always been the problem always the biggest problem and for me personally I know without my tool I would never have been able to get from the 263 wait to my current 158 I am now it is lowest I've ever been and I seriously you know that I would not have been able to do it without the surgery the surgery is just a tool to help us get to where we want to be and for me I don't regret it at all there was a short time. Where I was questioning myself but if I could go back and do it all over again I would 100%

Has anyone had second thoughts about surgery after experiencing successful weight loss during the nutritional counseling phase. Two and a half months of following my nutritionist recommendations for diet and exercise I am down 18 lbs. Even though I know I have lost only to gain it back, I am having thoughts that I can do this without surgery

My nutritionist wanted me to lose between 15-30lbs before surgery. Ive lost 55lbs. I really dont want to have the surgery but im sure if i keep losing this way, theres no point for surgery.

@@ppressey24 -- if you "really don't want to have the surgery" then don't have the surgery.

Seriously.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
