Erk! Sharon, glad you are home and that it wasn't life-threatening.

I've never heard of this condition. I learn a lot here.

Glad you are back home. Will you have time to just rest today? I hope so. From keeping up on your posts, it sounds like you might have some stressors in your life. Stress seems to contribute to A LOT of illnesses! I hope so much you feel better soon @@Sharon1964, prayers going out to you!

The short version is I spent a long night in the E.R. with chest pain, dizziness, clamminess, nausea. Turns out to be inflammation of the cartilage that attaches your ribs to your sternum and spine. Painful, scary, but not dangerous. No cardiac involvement at all.

While I was there, I thought of you all. I was about to tell someone that if something happened, they had to come here and tell my peeps. Cuz y'all are my peeps. Just so you know.

I had this exact same thing happen to me ...it's been occurring for a week...so today I forced myself to Er..and that is exactly what they said my pain was. I'm gonna see a heart specialist this week just to make sure! Hope it all goes well for you!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
