My friends pushed me out of the circle post weight loss surgery. They stated they didn't want to make me feel bad eating around me.

Since then I've upgraded to better more active friends. My surgery weeded out the duds.

I must say that prior to my surgery I partied more than I care to admit and those so called "friends" were very supportive of my decision to have WLS. However, they are nowhere to be found now that I'm almost a month post op.

and

My husband is truly supportive of my decision and does his best to be flexible with all my constant dietary demands and changes.

This is sort of true for me, although we didn't "party" my friends and I did go out and do things at least 1-2 times a month. My friends are thin & were very supportive of me getting surgery, so I really don't know what I have done, but now I am not included in any plans. Even though I know now that they are truly not friends it hurts to be left in the dust. Thankfully I have my husband.

My best friend voiced her opinion and was against me having surgery. I simply told her that she didn't have to live in my body. We barely speak anymore and I have seen her one time since. And even after a 20lb. Loss she didn't congratulate me or say anything about it. I guess I don't matter as much as I used to.

My friend is starting to treat me differently. I chose not to tell anyone about my WLS but instead saying that I am making good food choices, changing the way I eat, and working out (all true).

Now whenever I see her I see her look me up and down and wrinkle her nose.

I hope I don't lose her but if I do then it's probably for the best.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
