So I'm 2 1/2 weeks post op I'm down 28 lbs but I feel like I been hovering at my current weight for like a week now its annoying! But I realized that I barely eat I Dont get my fluids or Proteins in like I should which is NOT good..but I'm just NEVER hungry.

Any ideas on how I can start staying on track?

Also I'm on mushy foods .. What are some mushy foods that are high in Protein? ?.. besides eggs tuna fish and Greek yogurt

There are apps that remind you to drink. That's a great start to your loss - but you definitely need to get your Protein and fluids. You can have creamy Soups (no chunks), hummus, refried Beans (with cheese & sour cream), cottage cheese, ricotta bake (should be able to find recipe online), add Protein Powder to pudding. You have to eat even if you're not hungry.

Occasionally I feel kinda "empty", but I haven't been hungry in more than two months since my surgery. Eat on a schedule, your body needs fuel.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
