Thank you for all the encouragement. I just have to say that a huge part of my success is that my husband has committed to a healthier lifestyle too. (He did not have WLS but we are eating healthy and working out.)

This picture shows how far we both have come!

This is so inspirational! Thank you for sharing your progress and photos. I'm waiting on my surgery date and I'm beginning to have doubts! I'm afraid of going through all of this and then not lose weight! I need to lose SO MUCH. But thank you for a great success story

When you put that into the perspective that it's just a few months it's even more exciting. You both look great! Very motivating!!

Congratulations!! Was your 74 pound loss all post-op, or pre-op included?

That includes my pre-op loss which was about 12 lbs.

I just have to share because I'm finally seeing a difference in my body! I'm 3 months post-op and I have lost 74 lbs. :) I took a picture this weekend and finally could see a big difference. YAY for little victories and a place to share it where others understand completely!

Wow you look amazing!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
