i am almost 4 weeks post op sleeve surgery and i have been doing so good sticking with how and what i should eat. well recently i have been stuck with my weight and it is discouraging me. i ate 5 homemade french fries tonight because of how i am feeling and i feel so bad that i ate them and im scared it will get me off track more now. i dont have a lot of support at home i really need some help staying on track. i mean i dont eat over 800 calories in a day and i get my Protein but i am always freaking out that i am getting to many calories because untill recently i couldnt eat more than 400 calories now i feel more hungry :( im just looking for some support to help keep me where i need to be from others that understand.

i am gonna try to get back on track. I just stress myself out about my calories if i get anywhere close to 1000 i freak out and think i have messed up and ate to much for the day and worry thats why the scale isnt moving but like i said i am def more hungry this past week than i have been since the surgery so its getting kind of hard.

Just follow your program and focus on Protein and fluids. 1000 calories is not unreasonable. You are more likely to not lose with too few calories, especially if you aren't getting enough protein.

If you eat sugar you will crave sugar.

Therefore, don't eat any sugar.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
