Who had the sleeve around March 7th? How are you feeling?

Recommended Posts

March 10 for me. I had a rough go at the start, but I'm much, much better now. I'm in the "try it and see" phase with new foods, and fortunately, I haven't tried anything that hasn't worked yet.

I really can't handle more than 3 oz max of fish or other dense Protein at a time, or 1/2 cup total per meal. What I'm working on now (in addition to slowly trying new foods) is judging how much is "just enough" in settings where I can't measure or weigh out my portion in advance. It's a really subtle difference, and I find it harder to do when I'm in a social setting with more distractions.

Mine was March 2nd and I have had absolutely NO problems or issues or pain like some I have read on this forum. The secret for me is stopping a meal before I have had too much. It seems that getting enough Protein is a little more challenging now than in the beginning so I rely on the JET FUEL known as "Isopure". Unlike others I can tolerate it quite well. To answer your question......I feel great and am not straying from the high Protein /liquid program. I go to the gym 3 or 4 time a week which of course is a big plus according to my
Doc. Good luck to all of us.

Mine was March 8, And I also haven't experienced any thing I can't tolerate. I'm eating about 3-4oz each meal and am also feeling great, I'm down 40 lbs!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
