I have two more nutrition classes left and I haven't lost any weight yet. No matter how hard I try, it just doesn't happen for me. What am I doing wrong. I'm scared they are going to tell me that I can't have it.

I didn't lose anything during my 7 months of nutritionist visits. I really, really tried too. My bariatric center only wanted us not to gain. Losing is great, but so many of us struggle so much with that before surgery, hence the reason we are there in the first place. :) Keep on keepin' on. Your time is coming soon.

I don't know if this will help you. But I gave up my 6 diet coke a day habit at the beginning of the medically supervised weight loss program and lost 20 pounds. I knew that giving up caffeine and carbonated beverages was a requirement for surgery. I just did this early and was surprised at the result.

Without knowing what you are doing it is hard to know what you are doing "wrong", if anything.

Are you required to lose a certain amount pre-op?

Are you supposed to be following a particular plan?

Are you tracking your food?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
