Suggestions please .... sore tailbone

Recommended Posts

My surgery was on 4/4. I move between the bed, chair and couch downstairs. My tailbone is really starting to hurt. I sleep on a wedge and was doing awesome until last night when my butt/tailbone started hurting. Any suggestions? Has anyone tried sleeping on their side or stomach. My Dr told me I could as long as I could tolerate it

My doctor suggested I walk even if it's just around the house. My surgery was 3/31 and my back has been killing me. The day after surgery I walked 1/4 mile then gradually upper it every day so as of yesterday I walked 1.75 miles. That has loosened up my back muscles. Try it let me know if it works!

I bought a "hemi" pillow. It's the cushion one uses after hemorrhoid surgery or childbirth. It takes the pressure off of the "peri-area", including the tailbone.

I had to use numerous pillows, but was able to sleep on my stomach after tucking this one here and that one there! It was worth the trouble to get a good night's sleep.< /p>

Feel better.

Walking really will help. I couldn't sleep on my side for like 6-8 weeks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
