3 months out and cheating

Recommended Posts

So I'm nervous. I'm 3 months out and have lost about 50 pounds, but last week was Mardi Gras, and I snacked a lot on things like chips, popcorn, and chocolate. I didn't overeat during any of my meals and I haven't eaten any bread of any kind. Did I hurt my sleeve or stretch it in any way by cheating this early??

No. Just get back on the wagon. As long as you didn't over eat, you should be okay.

You're fine. You need to learn moderation, not deprivation. I pigged out and ate a ton of halloween candy a few months ago. I went camping last month and ate smores and a bunch of other naughty no-no foods. Not only am I fine, but I proved that I can be a normal, functioning human being that occasionally indulges.

sigh, its not cheating, its just eating. you dont have to report it, or anything like that you just have to get back on track. Please dont listen to the moderation crap. unless you want to lose just some weight maybe, and take a long ass time doing it. Eating everything in moderation makes you moderately fat. period. when people tell you its okay to cheat , they will fail. do not listen. its not cheating its just eating. Every Time you eat badly, you just lose more time in your honeymoon period and the losing gets harder and harder as you go forward. dont fell bad just move forward. you can do this, and that is it.

So just move forward dont beat yourself up. but dont plan to fail either.

You can do this.

OK, so you are a FUB (Fallible hUman Being). You are not stretching your sleeve, you just delayed progress. Kick yourself once, and get back on program. ;-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
