Wicked if I may ask... Do you have excess skin?

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  • 4 weeks later...

I'm definitely still a work in progress.

the left is my highest weight a year and a half ago, 442. I was a size 32 jeans and a 3x/4x top.

the right is current, 277. I'm at the lower end of size 24, and a 2x/sometimes xl top.

You look great! :)

You look amazing!!

Update! http://imgur.com/NOpEeIs

In less than two weeks, I will be nine months out from surgery. There are about 160 pounds and 10-11 pant sizes between the pictures! 2 more pounds and I will have lost 200 pounds from my highest. Surreal! Keep up the amazing, inspiring work everyone! <3

Sorry, just realized I never replied to your question.

I do have excess skin. Not as bad as I thought I would have (nothing like the TV show Tight Skin, in other words) but I do want to have plastic surgery to remove excess skin from my arms and legs (my stomach is okay). I also need a breast lift!

I'm much happier now, excess skin and all, than I was when I weighted 300 lbs.

Sorry, I don't wear dresses ;) BUT, I've gone from men's 5XL to a men's Med. :o ...it just doesn't seem like I am me anymore at all.

I was in a 24 or 26 size dress at my highest. (I had a size 26 dress that I adored and just got rid of begrudgingly. There was a time when it was actually a little tight.) Today (11 months post-op and 16 1/2 months from beginning the whole journey), I bought a size 12 dress. I feel so skinny in it! I can't even believe it fits! :)

Wow, you look great!

Thankfully no, Just in the tummy area. I would love to get a tummy tuck. No amount of sit ups or crunches gets rid of loose skin!lol
