  11. I had a friend who was the same way but the crazy thing is she was a previous weight loss surgery patient. She had gastric bypass 10 years before I had gastric sleeve. Now 18 months after my surgery our friendship has unfortunately suffered because she treats me completely different. I believe that before it made her feel more secure snot herself having a "fat" friend and now I'm smaller than her. I hate it and I miss our friendship but she has been so unsupportive and said some of the most hateful things to me as I've lost weight. I really don't understand. And she's not the only person. I live in a very small town and I have tons of haters. You would think that going from a size 20 to a size 0 you would have so many people excited and proud of you but I have so many women who before would have spoke to me and now give me dirty looks Aimee

  16. Happy mothers day to all you mothers out there! It feels great to be able to be get out and do things with my kids! Having 4 kids between the ages of 9 and 17 keeps me busy! So thankful for the new me that is excited to get out and do things with them:)
  17. I have been amazingly fortunate in the loose skin area. I was only over weight for about 10 years and I guess maybe genetics helped me in the elasticity area bc the only real bad problem area I'm super self conscious about is my tummy and my upper thighs. never thought I'd post a swimsuit pic on social media but here's one I got brave enough to share a couple weeks ago
  18. Thank you:) I really stuck to the high Protein, shakes mostly in the beginning and then a lot of fish and chicken. I do loves steak so I did eat steak occasionally but my stomach couldn't handle a lot of red meat for a while. I live on a farm and my husband and I have a pumpkin patch and corn maze in the fall so I do a lot of physical work so I didn't get toned by spending hours in the gym. Of course I do work out as well, I use free weights, resistance bands, apps on my phone and some dvds at home when I do have time. I have 4 kids and a 52 acre farm so I will be honest I don't have as much time to focus on working out as I'd like. But I work so much on the farm that I burn off the calories and lifting things has toned my arms and built my upper body up. People ask me all the time what workout I do and I just tell them the farm one! Lol. I never imagined that my reflection would be so drastically different in just 18 months! I am still getting used to it myself!!!
