As of last week I've lost 36 lbs maybe more, I don't weigh everyday. food variety is slim but I'm sticking with it. My only complaint is low energy and muscle fatigue. I am taking my Vitamins and drinking lots of Water. Any advice?

My first suspicion would be Protein insufficiency. How many grams are you intaking per day? Do your Vitamins have Iron, thiamin, B12, and folate?

Now that I think about it, I think your right about the Protein. I struggle with protein since I'm on soft foods at the moment and can't choke down anymore Protein shakes and I'm lactose intolerant. I would guess I'm probably at just a bit above the half of recommended daily dose. I know my Vitamins are good.

Protein and Water are your primary goals. Protein effects every part of the body and can slow your healing/recovery.

There are several options out there for lactose free whey protein. Isopure makes a good product. GNC also sells a lactose free whey called About Time.

No shame in being the chubby girl going to GNC. When I was starting the pre-op I bought Isopures from there. I didn't think they were terrible at all. And I believe it's 40g in the drink, and remember the Protein fluids count as your daily Fluid goal!

I ordered some new Protein Powder today. I will begin ASAP. I am forever loving Water. I can not stand the artificial sweetener aftertaste. I still struggle to eat, I'd rather drink. It seems like all I do is drink and pee! Lol....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
