  6. Needing variety and new ideas. Im getting bored need to change things up. Help!
  7. I got bariatric pal so much easier once you figure it out!
  8. That is an awful and very unprofessional thing for your doctor to say. Time for a new doctor, they work for you. Everything was about my weight too. Now I have lost 30+ lbs and I do feel less aches and pains but the mental stuff is hard to deal with. This surgery is not "a gift from god." It is a gift to you from you.

  13. I did move anything for two weeks. Doctor ordered me to drink a full bottle of magnesium citrate. It worked! Drink on an empty stomach then drink a lot of water! Its been a week after still no movement again. I was told to take miralax every 3days in 4oz unsweetened apple juice. I just figure I was slow before, I'm going to be even slower now.
  14. I am the same way. I talked with my husband and asked him "What should I say, if people ask questions?" Loved his response, tell them you have made some life changes. You have decided to take care of yourself. If they ask more just say you'd rather not discuss it. It has worked out so far. Good luck

  20. I haven't had any real dental issues, but I have a constant dry mouth and what I think is horrible breath. So embarrassing! ????
  21. I ordered some new protein powder today. I will begin ASAP. I am forever loving water. I can not stand the artificial sweetener aftertaste. I still struggle to eat, I'd rather drink. It seems like all I do is drink and pee! Lol....

  28. Great thank you! I will own being the chubby girl walking into GNC! Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  29. Just like you I have told no one, I am scared to. I have heard it all too, its always going to be our fault according to some people. The most important thing I would say to remember is that you did this for you, no one else. We did NOT take the easy way out having WLS. This is our tool to help us on our journey. I'm working on this one, but "It is not my business what other people think of me." Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  30. Now that I think about it, I think your right about the protein. I struggle with protein since I'm on soft foods at the moment and can't choke down anymore Protein shakes and I'm lactose intolerant. I would guess I'm probably at just a bit above the half of recommended daily dose. I know my vitamins are good. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  31. As of last week I've lost 36 lbs maybe more, I don't weigh everyday. Food variety is slim but I'm sticking with it. My only complaint is low energy and muscle fatigue. I am taking my vitamins and drinking lots of water. Any advice?
  32. I lost 17 my first week, then another 8. I haven't weighed myself in awhile. It will be interesting to see my progress next week. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  33. Thank you, I look forward to meeting new people and giving/receiving support. I just can't figure out how to post a new questions except repeatedly posting in tell my story. Is that how this works? Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
  34. I stayed 3 days, I had issues taking fluids on my own. I had great pain management day 1 I had a morphine pain pump. Didnt need often. Day 2, I was off pain meds and walking. Day 3, by late afternoon I was home. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
