Believe it or not, I really like Kosher baby dill pickles. They are flavorful and crunch. Give me all the things I need to get through with only 5 or so calories per pickle

Add me to the Chili bandwagon - I prefer it mild.

I recently discovered ProYo where I shop. It's a high Protein frozen yogurt pushup treat. They're too high in sugar to have every day but they are a great occasional treat.

Yo, ProYo! JohnZ54, is there any soy in this treat? I am EXTREMELY allergic to soy and the damn stuff is in just about everything. Thank YOU.

Valentina

Hello, it's a lil off topic but what is your reaction if you consume soy? My 8 year daughter is also extremely allergic to soy. She has vomiting and diarrhea.

On another note, Healthy Choice also has a Greek frozen yogurt. I've found in the frozen foods section with the Healthy Choice section.

I go into anaphylactic shock. Starts with itchy throat/mouth, feeling clammy, itching ALL over, welts everywhere, throat/face swells--can't hear, can't see, breathing difficult/ heart races and then it all goes down hill from there.

Sashimi hand rolls...

oh that looks so good!

I do something similar but with russian style gravlax (which is raw salmon that has been rubbed down with a salt and sugar mixture and left to cure for three days. It retains the beautiful texture of raw salmon and only really gets a mild salty flavor)

Shouldn't high calorie be a plus for you?

Here are the nutritional facts on the nutritional yeast I just bought, seems good to me!

I work at a school and I have, often, just a half cup of veg for lunch. I keep a shaker of nutritional yeast in my lunch bag, and shake it on. My 40 calories of cauliflower, become a 100 calorie "casserole" with almost 10 grams Protein. And the beauty of NY is that it adds almost nothing in the way of volume.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
