Just a rant, I'm a positive person for the most part, I was sleeved, 9/14/15 , my surgery weight was 269, I exercise 3/4 xs a week but walk a mile or two, 4-5 times a week, I get in all of my Protein daily, sometimes even more, same as with my Water, but I been on a stall for a month, and 3 days, I don't weigh myself everyday, I tried everything drank/eat more/less, excercise more/less , everyone keeps saying embrace the stall but I'm worried that stalling this early for this long, is a concern and I stalled at 3 weeks for 3 weeks , not to compare myself to others, but has this happened to anyone else , what did you do, I read the entire thread "embrace the stall" I feel like imma be ebracing it till 2017 lol ....I'm glad and grateful that I lost 20 pounds , I rather it be off then on, but is that it ? I'm so discouraged. I probably stalled longer then what I think but being as though I only weigh myself 1-2 times in a month, once at the drs, once at home Ill never know. Happy new years everyone....

RANT OVER lol

Welcome to the stall club :)

I'm still about 40 lbs. from my goal, a little more than a year out from surgery, and have been stuck just above 200 for about 5-6 months now. Don't give up. Just because we have smaller tummies now, weight loss still takes a lot of work every day, every meal. I, too, have mixed things up over these months in an effort to jump start losing again. I believe what will work best for me is to go back to drinking more @@powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury shakes to ramp up my Protein intact, even though most days I get the recommended amount. I do get plenty of exercise. Just keep plugging along and doing all that you can.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
