Diahrea and incontinense

Normally it is the opposite problem. Not going for days. I have to take a stool softener everyday.

Like the previous poster, Constipation is more of an issue for me.

I've been on a liquid diet now for almost a month. And still have close to a month to go. Biggest problem in this regard has without a doubt been Constipation. I was worried about the same thing but no such issue so far.

I had severe diarrhea for 4 weeks straight. It started with my pre op diet. For those 2 weeks and 2 weeks after my surgery I was in constant misery. Several times a day I almost didn't make it. At my 2 week post op Dr visit my doctor stopped the Protein shakes. From that day I never had diarrhea again. I am not lactose intolerant, I was having problems with the make up of the shakes.

I was extremely concerned with how severe it is. The instant something entered my mouth I was in the bathroom. I feel for you. I can't see your stats if you have any because I'm on my phone. Talk to your Dr.

I am 4 weeks post op and 100% better now. Good luck with finding what works for you. I know how you feel.

No problems for me. On my liquid diet I had diarrhoea, and after taking Gaviscon I had Constipation. Since then I poop normally every 2 days.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
