Finally sleeved!

Recommended Posts

It's been just over 24 hours. No gas pain, no nausea. I'm off the IV and onto paracetamol and ibuprofen. Only issues are tiredness and some pain at the main incision.I should be right to go home tomorrow if I can get a litre of fluids today.

How are my fellow 8th December sleevers going? Hope everyone is doing well!

I just got sleeved yesterday, came home today around noon. Still tired and in some pain/discomfort. Finding a comfortable sleeping position is hard at this moment.

I visited one of our friends from here! She got sleeved yesterday at 130 pm mountain and is doing GREAT! No pain and walking and sitting up and chatting. She said she is just tired.

It sure made me feel better about my 12/28 surgery! The stitches were so much smaller than I thought. She got to go home today at 4 pm.

Got sleeved at 7 this morning. Was home by 4 this afternoon. Have a drain tube still in me but go to dr in the morning to get removed. Pain on right incision which must have been the major incision. Been chewing ice, keeping an ice pack on, walking laps in the house and taking deep breaths. Only nauseated once with first liquid pain med in hospital. All is good so far, hope tonight goes well. Just took a pain pill in case I will need it while sleeping. Lost 12.4 lbs in my one week of pre diet ????. Best of wishes to today's sleevers!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
