@@irene2760, I honestly don't think you're doing anything wrong! Some of us need to stay on the shakes longer than others to make sure we hit Protein every day. I don't need to do it all the time (though they're usually a part of my day), but some days the sleeve just doesn't want as much food (or I screw up and eat the wrong stuff and have to hit a Protein shake or two through the day to make sure I at least hit that number).

There is no doubt the new year will hold great things for you and everyone there after. I can relate to so much of what you have said. I am only 50# down, but I have already noticed that people treat me differently. Is it me or them? I am not sure, but I have known from the first day of surgery that this was a great life choice for me.

Thanks for taking the time to share your story. ????

Congrats on your surgiversary and thank you for your thoughtful post. I am 3.5 months out and already can relate to so much of this. Makes me feel like I am on the right track.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
