Sounds like the famous "3 week stall"...

Yes, I can see that you're not exactly 3 weeks out but you're pretty close...

There are plenty of posts and articles around with information on this...

I think there's one titled "Embrace the Stall" or something similar...

Maybe that has some information you can use...

Physical therapy may re-start things for you too...

It sounds like you are doing great. What you are experiencing is very normal.

Just focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. And taking your Vitamins and supplements as directed and you will be fine.

If the numbers in the scale Erie you crazy, then consider weighing infrequently, or not at all (you will be weighed at your follow-up appointments).

Here is the post that was referenced above.

All good.. be patient. It will come... this stall for me lasted 2 1/2 weeks and it felt so long. Just keep doing what your are doing... all will come. Now is great time to weigh yourself one day a week instead of every day... Or maybe twice a week (same day, same time, same clothes).

Echoing what everyone else has said. My stall lasted 2 weeks. I just kept plugging and I'm headed downward again.

I really do think that our bodies go through a "WTF??" moment. It will get with the program. One of the things you want to keep track of is non-scale victories (NSV). You may not notice the scale moving, but pay attention to things like how your clothing fits, how you feel when you're walking, etc. That will help.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
