I vote for the wk of Mar 30 - Apr 6 we can do a wk end or during the wk which I think most of us like the idea of cheaper flights and hotels which is more likely to happen during the wk. I'm thinking me and hubby will go Sun-Sun hmmm not for sure yet.

Hey Insub, I'll play $5 for you! haha

OK, I think I've made it very clear that I'm pretty flexible on all of this! My job is very flexible and I have over 3 weeks of vacation time I can take whenever I want as long as I know minimum of 30 days in advance, preferably 60 days in advance.

I'm very open to the whole March/April idea, ad the weather will be perfect! I can't wait to walk the strip without feeling like I'm DYING! Haha!

Also - I don't know what happened to BeckieT ... but if she doesn't re-surface I'll need a roomie! I'm clean and tidy and easy-go-lucky ... very laid back. I only snore a slightest bit, Lol!

I am not sure where everyone is from, but if you are someplace close to where Allegiant Air flies out of, you can find some pretty good prices to Vegas.

I checked for me, and could get flights for about $119. round trip in March and April.

Go to allegiantair.com and see if that will help any of you.

I would love to be going with you guys, but doubt it will work out. My husband and I are going on a 10 day cruise in Jan. and can't really afford it right now. I keep reading all your posts, and who knows, maybe once you make up your minds when for sure, I will see if I am able to go.

March or April sounds great to me. Me and my sister are interested in going and meeting everyone in Vegas. Both of us were banded the same day.

Sorry about not posting of late, all, and especially Suzzzie. I've been swamped at work and working late each night, plus we moved to the country and we don't have internet service at home yet.

I am still game for a trip...late march/early april is fine by me. Just let me know when/where and ideas and I'll put in my requests.

I've thought about this more and more lately....

June is our bandaversary. Why not June? We are the June Bandsters.

Anyway, I have hooked up with someone and am offering to donate funds for the hotel...so that it's either paid for altogether or lessens our out of pocket expenses.

Who ever is going to be in charge of this...please contact me so that I can have a goal in mind and make the arrangements.

Grace - Have you ever been to the middle of the desert in June before? I was there the last week of May this year and it was HOTTTT!! Lol!!

I don't really care either way ya'll... seriously. I'm probably the most flexible person here since I'm singe and have no kids. My job is flexible too... I will only have to arrange for someone to check on my cats, which isn't difficult at all since I have alot of family and friends within a 5-15 mile radius of me.

Hell, I"d go tomorrow if I could pull the funds together that quickly!

Hi, yes, I have. Lived there several years. Of course, being in Utah I'm freezing.

It was just an idea...high school reunions will be in the summer, as it marks such and such year.

Just thought a year mark would be cool... even if some couldn't justify getting away... to mark their banaversary...may may.

But anytime. Let's do it when most are comfortable.

Hope you guys don't mind me jumping in here despite being a September bandster. Just thought I'd point out that there is also a group of bandsters (any month) trying to get together in Vegas in January 2008. I know that's coming up fast but maybe we could all meet up together?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
