Not tolerating whey protein...

Recommended Posts

I feel like Sun Warrior is pretty chalky but mixed with other stuff I don't notice as much.

juice Plus has 2 products. Capsules which contain all your vegetable and fruit servings in them and Protein powder. I use both. My kids now do 5 mornings a week of smoothies with the JP Protein Powder. I've seen a huge difference in their health with this minor change. I mix Sunwarrior vanilla and JP chocolate plus PB2 powder and is actually tolerable to drink.

I have a JP rep if you would like to know more.

Someone is telling me about this juice plus. Is it a good choice for us bypassed? I'm getting malnutrition and looking for some help. Premier makes me sick.

I think JP is a great choice after bypass since it helps with macronutrients too. I also take the capsules to get in all my fruits and veggies intake. I do blood next month so will see how or if it has helped in that way too. The Protein Powder has 15 g of Protein so I boost it to over 20 with almond milk, chia seeds and or PB2 powder.

So glad to see this post. I am 3 weeks post-op and I keep telling my husband that the Protein shakes causes my heart to race. I can only tolerate whey Protein powder unflavored with lactose free milk. It causes my heart to race too but the only one I can tolerate since it has no taste.

Can you boost your tasteless shakes with fruit or PB2 powder? My Target has chocolate PB2 now.

How about the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury chicken? It was all I could tolerate the first week post op.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
